what is hackhers ATX (AUSTIN)?

HackHERS ATX are a series of day-long hackathons designed to empower and inspire young women in middle and high schools across Austin to explore the world of technology. Our event brings together passionate students of all experience levels to collaborate, innovate, and create impactful projects related to Gen Z (e.g., cancer awareness and prevention, mental health, eating disorders and body dysmorphia).

At HackHERS ATX, participants engage in hands-on coding, attend workshops led by female industry experts, and receive mentorship from experienced programmers. Whether you're a beginner or a coding pro, this a welcoming space to build new skills, make connections, and turn ideas into reality. Food and drinks are provided at all hackathons.
